International Desk: India is now developing its own anti-drone technology to prevent the growing threat of drone attacks from neighboring countries. And very soon it will be in the hands of the Indian Border Guard. Such information was given by the country’s Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Amit Shah told BSF personnel in the western border city of Jaisalmer, ‘To counter the threat of drones, the BSF, NSG and DRDO are working together on anti-drone defences.’
He was speaking on the foundation anniversary of the Indian Border Guard on Sunday, reported the Indian Express. “I have full confidence in our scientists. Very soon our country will have a domestic anti-drone system.
Incidentally, this is the first time that the foundation anniversary of BSF is being celebrated near the India-Pakistan border. Appreciating this move, the Union Home Minister said, Army jawans everywhere are setting an example of bravery and this should be done everywhere.
