A historic decision in Indian football. From this time only money can be played in ISL, the rule is going to change. Playing in the highest football competition in the country will require a good team, hard work and success. Because the ILeague champion team will get a chance to play directly in the Indian Super League from now on. All India Football Association general secretary Shaji Prabhakaran told the news agency on Saturday.

This plan was made earlier for the betterment of Indian football. The roadmap that AFC and AIFF drew up in 2019 stipulated that the I-League winner of the 2022-23 season would get a direct chance to play in the 2023-24 ISL. Now the All India Football Federation is going to implement that idea.

Shaji Prabhakaran said in an interview to the news agency that the winning team of the I-League will play the ISL next time. But they have to complete the licensing process. The I-League winning team does not have to pay any money to participate in the ISL. As all ISL clubs are licensed, I-League clubs will have to do the same.’

Kalyan Chaubey, the new president of the All India Football Association, has decided to proceed according to the road map that was created. That is, he also has a green signal in this historic initiative. But there is a question whether the ISL teams agree. But the AIFF bosses think the ISL clubs will be happy with such a decision.
