West Indies – 311/6
#Trinidad: When the West Indies decided to bat after winning the toss in the second one-day match, it did not seem that they would be able to score such a big run on the scoreboard. But the Caribbean batsmen were in the mood right from the start on a pitch named after Brian Lara. Two openers Shai Hope and Coyle Meyers got off to a great start.
The left-handed Meyers scored 39 off 23 balls before being dismissed by Deepak Hooda. Then Brooks came and made 35. Akshar Patel returned him. However, despite getting a run in the first match, Brandon King failed today. He went back without opening the account. After that, captain Nicholas Puran froze on the wicket. He kept the scoreboard going with singles and doubles. Luz got the ball and sent it out of bounds.
Hope, on the other hand, cruised to his 100th ODI match at a smooth pace. Hope scored a century in the 100th match of Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner, Chris Gayle, Kumar Sangakkara. Puran was out for 74. He was bowled by Shardul Thakur.
India needs 312 runs to defeat West Indies and win the ODI series.

Then came the big hitter Powell. Abesh Khan played his first ODI match on this day. But he failed to catch attention. Gave a lot of runs. Did not get a wicket. Hope completed his century with a six in style.
But in the end, the Indian bowlers bowled somewhat controlled in the death overs. In particular, Shardul Thakur bowled a length yorker in addition to taking three wickets. India’s batting line-up is quite talented. This run is difficult but not impossible for Team India.
It is not impossible for India to win the series today if they play with responsibility. Mohammed Siraj should be praised separately. Despite not getting a wicket, he bowled with great control. Otherwise, West Indies’ runs would have been at least 15-20 more.
