Sun News Desk: Mahia Mahi, a popular actress of Dhakai cinema, said that she will participate in the national parliament elections if the people of the area want. He said these things in response to a question from journalists on Friday (November 4) at noon.

A kabaddi tournament was organized today at Mundumala Fazal Ali Molla Degree College ground in Tanor Upazila of Rajshahi. On the occasion of the 59th birthday of Sheikh Russell, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, this event was organized by Swapna Foundation and District Sports Organization established by Mahi. He spoke to the journalists on this occasion.

Mahi said, I am idealized by the ideals of Bangabandhu. I want to inform everyone about this. Anyone can do it from anywhere. Although I don’t understand politics, I started it. I want to serve people. By politics I mean serving people.

He also said that Bangabandhu sacrificed his life, his youth, without giving time to his family. I see this as politics.

Whether participating in the National Assembly elections in the near future? In response to this question, the actress said, “Not for now, it’s too late.” If the local people want, love me; If that is the case, it can certainly happen, InshAllah.

Nine upazilas of Rajshahi and a team of district police participated in this tournament which started from morning. Actor and police officer DA Taib inaugurated the tournament. Falguni Hamid, Central President of Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance, was present as the chief guest in the first episode. General Secretary Habibur Rahman was the special guest.

Mahi is the Joint General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance. Earlier, he served as the convenor of the organization’s Rajshahi division.

Incidentally, the latest movie ‘Jao Pakhi Bollo Tare’ starring Mahi was released on October 7. Mahir made her film debut in the year 2012 with the film Love Rang.

Mahia Mahi was born on October 27, 1993 in Chapainawabganj district. Her family name is Sharmin Akhtar Nipa. His father’s name is Abu Bakr and mother’s name is Dilara Yasmin. He completed secondary from Dhaka Uttara High School and higher secondary from Dhaka City College. She is currently studying Fashion Designing at Shanta-Mariam University of Creative Technology.

Mahi tied the knot with Parvez Mahmood Apur in 2016. They separated in June 2021. Currently she is married to prominent businessman Rakib Sarkar of Gazipur. They got married in September 2021. After marriage, she took the title Sarkar from her husband’s name and now she is Mahia Mahi Sarkar.
