For now, the office of Twitter is closed for a week. The employees of the organization have been informed that the office will open on November 21. But why will the office be closed? No clear reason was given to the staff! As a result, Twitter owner Elon Musk and Twitter workers once again fell into a fire of unrest!
In a message sent to Twitter employees on Thursday, the company said the decision to close all its office buildings will be effective immediately, the BBC reported. The office will reopen next Monday. Till then everyone’s office badge will be invalid. That is, they cannot access the office or Twitter’s internal network system.
Incidentally, Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, has made a whirlwind of changes over the past two weeks, creating chaos. Within two weeks of buying the world’s leading microblogging site, billionaire Elon Musk has laid off nearly half of his workforce. The rest of the workers have been warned, laziness must be overcome! One mantra–long hours of hard work! Work relentlessly! After that, hundreds of employees started resigning from Twitter. Meanwhile, the cloud of smoke thickened as Twitter’s offices closed.
Bloomberg reported that a large number of engineers were among the resignations. That is why the authorities have decided to close all offices of Twitter for four days. In a message sent to employees, Twitter officials said, “Refrain from discussing company confidential information on social media, in the media or elsewhere, and follow company rules.”
Before that, Elon Musk told the Twitter workers through e-mail that either they have to work hard or they have to quit. He made it clear that he has no objection if he doesn’t like or don’t want to accept the conditions. Employees can leave work with three months’ salary without interruption. Twitter’s outer door is always open for them.
Elon’s terms are straightforward. He said that the way Twitter is going through huge losses every day, there is no other way to save this company except to do good and do more. So Elon ordered the Twitter staff to break the long sleep blanket. Said to be ready to work hard. Twitter’s new owner has also asked employees to sign a form online in this regard. The form, which lists the conditions, clearly states, either work hard for at least 40 hours a week, or quit Twitter. Twitter won’t block anyone. Instead, the decision will be welcomed by the employees, assuming that it is for the future success of Twitter. CNBC reported that hundreds of employees began sending in resignation letters on Thursday after receiving the email. Company internal chat groups are filled with greeting emojis and farewell messages.
