Sun News Desk: An agreement has been signed between Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Aspire to Innovate (A2I) under the ICT Department of the Government to pay all types of utility bills through technological facilities.
On Tuesday (November 22), Islami Bank’s Additional Managing Director Md. Omar Farooq Khan and A2I’s Project Director (Joint Secretary) Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
At this time, A2I Program Manager Tahurul Hasan and Program Service Implementation Expert Shahadat Hossain and Islami Bank Senior Executive Vice President Md Maksudur Rahman, Executive Vice President AKM Mahabub Morshed and Ahmed Zobairul Haque and Assistant Vice President Kazi Mohammad Ismail were present.
Under this agreement, all categories of citizens of the country can receive various government services from Islami Bank branches/sub-branches, agent outlets. Also Bank’s Internet Banking, Selfin, Mcash and card holders can pay their various types of government dues.
Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited will get all kinds of technological benefits from the A2I project to bring financial services to the doorsteps of the people. Through this, the bank’s customers will be able to receive about 850 types of services related to A2I, including the beneficiaries of various government allowances.
