#Kolkata: Former CAB treasurer Biswaroop Dey raised the tone against Sourav Ganguly after losing the post of BCCI president. He taunted Sourav in tongue-in-cheek language. But Vishwaroop De’s tone softened when Sourav Ganguly announced his candidacy for the CAB president post. Welcoming Sourav’s decision, Vishwarup De said it was very good news.

After confirming his exit from the BCCI, speculations were rife as to what would be Sourav Ganguly’s next move. It was known on Friday that Sourav may return to CAB. On Saturday, ending all speculations, Sourav Gangopadhyay said that he is standing for the post of CAB president. Sourav announced this after coming to Eden on Saturday. He assured that he will contest for the post of CAB president without giving reasons. Sourav also said that there is no compromise with the opposition.

Earlier, Biswaroop Dey was fired when the news of Roger Binny becoming the next president of BCCI instead of Sourav Gangopadhyay came out. He was also criticized for advertising Sourav. However, after Sourav announced his candidacy for CAB president, Vishwarup dey welcomed ‘Maharaj”s decision. The former treasurer of CAB also said that Sourav was never called a bad administrator.
