Twitter Blue Tick: Twitter Elon Musk made several big decisions after the purchase. The top level of the company has been retrenched. Now fixed the fee for verified account. Users will get priority in searches, replies and mentions if they have a blue subscription. According to Musk, this feature will prevent spam and scams. Besides, users can now post long videos and audios.
However, it is not yet clear how much Twitter’s Blue subscription will cost in India. Generally, other subscription services are expensive in the US but are cheaper in India For example, Netflix’s subscription service is the cheapest in the country.
Blue subscriptions to Twitter show fewer ads in the feed than normal users. Musk also said that Blue subscription subscribers will be able to read paid articles for free if publishers strike a deal with Twitter. Musk wrote in a tweet, ‘Twitter’s income will increase due to blue subscription. Content creators will also be rewarded’.
According to the company’s filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, Musk dissolved the board of directors as the owner of Twitter. Now there is only one member on the board. It is the mask itself. Incidentally, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, bought Twitter for $44 billion.
Soon after the deal was completed, Musk removed Twitter’s Indian-origin CEO Parag Agarwal and top legal officer Vijaya Gadde. As Twitter’s new owner, Musk tweeted on Friday morning, ‘Let the good times roll.’ He said, Twitter users will no longer have high-low distinctions – everyone is one and free.
