He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of digital transaction platform ‘Binimoy’ service at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital on Sunday (November 13) around 12 noon.


Sajib Wazed Joy said, when we expressed the dream of digital Bangladesh in 2008, there was nothing to say digital. Nowhere in the world was there a framework for building a digital nation. Various international organizations including IMF, World Bank assured us to build a digital country. Their dream was to have their own consultants come to our country, take 5 to 6 years to do a project and work like themselves. I said no need. We will do digital Bangladesh by ourselves.
